Biocarbon for Specialty Carbon Applications
A renewable, biogenic alternative to petroleum- and coal-based specialty carbon products, engineered and lab tested across rubber, plastics, filtration, and adsorbent applications.
Specialty Carbon Still Runs on Fossil Feedstocks
From rubber and plastics fillers to water and air filtration media, specialty carbon products are still made almost entirely from petroleum and coal. Producing them is carbon-intensive in itself, conventional carbon black is estimated to emit roughly 2.4 to 3.7 tons of CO2 per ton produced, and coal-based activated carbon roughly 9.5 to 18 tons per ton. Biocarbon offers a renewable, biogenic alternative across both, engineered and lab tested to your application.
One Renewable Material, Built for Your Application
Biocarbon is engineered differently depending on how it’s used, but it starts from the same biogenic carbon source. Select your fit below.
